Kola Nut
Kola nut, scientifically known as Cola nitida and Cola acuminata, is a caffeine-rich seed native to tropical rainforests of Africa. The Kola tree is an evergreen that produces nuts that are super rich in caffeine. Kola nut is chewed as whole fruit, and very effective in restoring vitality. Kola nuts are called different names in Nigeria; the Yorubas call it ‘Obi,’ Hausas call it ‘Gworo’ while the Igbo tribe calls it ‘Oji.
